Meet your teacher

I am Kath and I am passionate about helping people to make great bread at home. When I first started making bread everything I made was a disaster. I was determined to make delicious bread that I could share with family and friends. So, I started to teach myself how to make bread and once I had cracked it I became passionate about it. I set up Veg Patch Kitchen Cookery School and taught my first group of paying students in 2015. I absolutely love my job and I love sharing my knowledge, tips and tricks to help other people make great bread at home.

  • I am a beginner, is this the right course for me?

    This course assumes that you have a basic knowledge of bread making and that you have made bread before. I do give full instructions so you may enjoy this course as a novice, but you might be best choosing my Bread Basics or Bread Made Easy Masterclass first. You could also join our Bread Made Easy Membership to access my most popular courses for £9.99 a month.

  • What equipment will I need?

    I give an equipment list with each recipe. You will need at least 2 bowls, scales to weigh the ingredients, a plastic scraper or spatula, oven gloves, 2 baking trays, rolling pin, pastry brush, a cooling rack or wire oven shelf
